Community rules.
Hey, welcome in. This is the forum for everyone in DIGIGANG, Jay's here, you're here, the gang's here. A few things to know so this space stays good for everyone.
What we want.
- Be respectful. Treat every person here like they're sitting across from you. Disagree freely, but argue with the work, never with the person.
- Be real. Show up as yourself. Don't post for performance, post because you have something to say.
- Be helpful. When someone shares something, react like a peer. Critique kindly, hype genuinely.
- Stay on topic. Each category exists for a reason. If your post fits Feedback, it doesn't fit General. If you're not sure, use General.
- Search before you post. If your question has a thread, reply to it. New threads should bring new conversation.
What we don't want.
- No hate. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, religious bigotry, none of it. Zero warnings, instant removal.
- No harassment. Targeted attacks on a member or external person. Includes pile-ons, dog-piling, calling people out by name unkindly.
- No spam. Self-promotion is fine if it fits the thread. Drive-by self-promotion that ignores the conversation is not.
- No NSFW. This is a community space for work and culture. Keep adult content elsewhere.
- No leaks. If someone shared something in confidence (vault material, unreleased work, private DMs), it doesn't get shared here.
- No piracy. Stems, working files, unreleased material aren't ours to give out.
How moderation works.
- Every post has a report button. Use it if you see something off, an admin will look.
- Admins can edit or remove any post. We try to do this rarely, and we tell you when it happens.
- If you're warned and the same behavior continues, you get removed from the forum. You can come back after that's been talked through.
- The Feedback category is the right place for 'this thing about the forum or site or credits isn't working.' That's not moderation, it's a feature.
A note from Jay.
This isn't a brand activation. It's a space for people who care about this kind of work to talk to each other and to me. The rules are about keeping that exchange real. Read them once, then forget them, if you're showing up like a decent person you'll never trip over them.
Welcome.
