Agreement to terms
By using Velin.build you agree to these terms. Velin.build is operated by Jay Digital (Johnathan K M Geary), a Nevada sole proprietorship (Nevada LLC formation pending). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for every action taken from your account. The admin role is limited to the operator allowlist and is not user-assignable.
Service pricing
Service prices shown on Velin.build are adjusted by a per-zip cost-of-living index sourced from U.S. Census Bureau ACS data plus an optional global multiplier. The price you see at quote time is the price you pay if you agree on the same day. The agreement records that quote as a snapshot; subsequent index refreshes do not retroactively change agreed quotes.
Engagement agreements
When you confirm a quote, Velin.build records the full agreement text, the SHA-256 hash of that text, your IP address, your user agent, the timestamp, and a hash bound to your authenticated account session. This forms the digital equivalent of an electronic signature under the E-SIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. You consent to using electronic records and signatures in lieu of paper.
Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you authorize the listed charge to your selected payment method. A 50 percent deposit is collected at agreement; the balance is due on delivery unless your engagement specifies a different milestone schedule.
Scheduling and Google Calendar
Appointment-requiring services include a booking step. You can reschedule or cancel an upcoming appointment yourself, at any time, from your account - there is no window to beat and nobody to ask. Rescheduling keeps your deposit and simply moves the booking. Cancelling forfeits the deposit: holding the time is what it paid for, and it is why moving instead costs you nothing. If you connect Google Calendar (operator only), Velin.build requests read access to freebusy windows plus event-write access to push booked appointments. We never read event content.
Credits
Credits are an in-product unit of account. Purchase rate and redemption rate are visible on the DIGIGANG credits page. Credits are not legal tender, are not refundable to cash, do not expire by default, and may be revoked for misuse (for example, fraudulent earn task submissions).
Mailchimp subscriptions
Subscribing to the newsletter places your email with Mailchimp under the Jay Digital audience. You can unsubscribe at any time from the footer of any email. Mailchimp processes unsubscribes; Velin.build syncs the status nightly.
Intellectual property
Deliverables are licensed for the use specified in your engagement agreement. Source files transfer on full payment unless your agreement specifies otherwise. The Velin.build product itself (code, brand, UI) remains the property of Jay Digital (Johnathan K M Geary).
Deposits, cancellation and refunds
A deposit reserves your place in the schedule and covers work that begins immediately, so it is non-refundable once work has started. If you cancel before any work begins, the deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel partway through, you are billed for work completed to that point and anything already paid beyond that is returned. If we cancel for any reason other than your non-payment or breach of these terms, you are refunded in full, including the deposit.
Deliverables are released when the balance is paid. Rescheduling is free with at least 48 hours notice; inside that window a booked slot may be treated as work begun.
What we need from you
Projects depend on things only you can supply: brand assets, copy, access to accounts, and decisions. You confirm you have the right to give us whatever you send, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. If a project stalls waiting on you for more than 60 days we may pause it and invoice for work completed; it can be restarted, though scheduling and pricing may have moved.
Late payment
Invoices are due on receipt unless the agreement says otherwise. Work may be paused on an overdue balance, and deliverables are not released until it is settled.
Voluntary support
Support given through the Support page is a gift, not a purchase. It buys no services, unlocks no features, and creates no obligation on either side. It is not tax-deductible: Jay Digital (Johnathan K M Geary) is a business, not a registered charity. Because nothing is delivered in exchange, gifts are non-refundable. A monthly gift continues until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from the link in your receipt.
Disclaimers
Velin.build is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jay Digital (Johnathan K M Geary) disclaims all warranties, express or implied. Jay Digital (Johnathan K M Geary) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the work the claim relates to in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by emailing thejaydigital@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service, does not pay, or uses it unlawfully. Ending an account does not cancel money already owed in either direction, and the sections on payment, intellectual property, liability and governing law survive it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lander County, Nevada.
